When I'm A Parent

When I become a parent I'm going to try and be their friends. I want that special bond with them. When I am a parents I'll give them a little more freedom like my dad did to me. I don't want them out partying 24/7 or anything. I want them to be able to have fun without them worrying that I will find out. I want them to come to me with any problem they have and I will listen. I will be strict like my mother is to me.I would also do a lot of things with them. I don't want us to be sitting at home and they rather be on the computer than be active. The one thing that I will make my kids do is help on the farm or around the house. They are not going to think that thing will handed down to them because nothing will be. I was raised to get a job at 14 and work for things around the house. I had to work for a cell phone. My kids are not going to turn 12 and say I need a cell phone. They are going to work for it and buy one on their own. They would get allowances but they have to work around the house. This world is hard and things wont be handed down to you and I want them to think that. I want to be their best friends but their worst enemy in seconds.
